Service Pricing

A $40 booking deposit is required to reserve all mobile notary appointments.

• Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the appointment.
• The deposit is not an additional fee.
• Appointments are confirmed once the deposit has been received and the appointment details have been approved.
• Evening, weekend, holiday, and same-day appointments are subject to availability.

Cancellations Made at Least 2 Hours in Advance
Customers who cancel their appointment at least two hours before the scheduled appointment time will receive a full refund of their $40 booking deposit.

Cancellations Made Less Than 2 Hours in Advance
Appointments canceled less than two hours before the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $40 late-cancellation fee, which will be covered by the booking deposit.

A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals or delays at the scheduled appointment.

If the appointment is delayed beyond the 15-minute grace period, an additional fee of $15 will be charged for every additional 15-minute increment.

Additional waiting time is subject to the notary’s availability. Black Dog Business Services reserves the right to end the appointment when a delay interferes with other scheduled commitments.

Please ensure the following are available at the time of your appointment:

• The document(s) requiring notarization.
• Acceptable identification for each signer (as required by Texas law).
• All individuals required to appear, including witnesses if needed.
• Any instructions from the receiving party if the document does not specify a notarial act.

If the notarization cannot be completed due to missing documents, invalid identification, missing signers or witnesses, or other customer preparation issues, the full agreed travel fee remains payable. No notarial fee will be charged for an act that was not performed.

If Black Dog Business Services must cancel an appointment or cannot provide the agreed service due to an error or circumstance within our responsibility, you will receive a full refund of all applicable prepaid charges. You may also be offered the opportunity to reschedule at no additional charge.
